This memorial stands along the B8060 road in the village of Kershader, close to the Ravenspoint Centre, 5 miles east of Balallan. The junction for the B8060 lies at the west end of Balallan.
Bus W9 serves Kershader from Balallan, which in turn can be reached on the W10 bus from Stornoway to Tarbert.
