Tolsta Chaolais

Do NOT confuse this village with North Tolsta on the east coast of Lewis. Tolsta Chaolais is located 3 miles south of Carloway, along a looproad off the A858 Barvas to Garynahine road, which issues a mile north of Breasclete and three miles south of Carloway.

The memorial stands in the middle of the village by the roadside.
Bus W2 from Stornoway to Carloway passes by the Tolsta Chaolais road-ends. A feeder bus is available upon (telephone) request from the northern road-end. Details on the Comhairle website, link in side-panel.
