This memorial is located in the village of Garrabost, about 7 miles northeast of Stornoway. It stands at the A866 which leads from Stornoway to Broker, past the airport. Within Garrabost, the memorial lies just beside the turnoff left (north) towards the Free Church Manse at Garrabost, national grid reference NB510330.
It consists of a memorial garden, at the back of which stand four wall-mounted plaques listing the names of the Fallen. A St Andrew's Cross lies in front of the wall, with the blue of the St Andrew's Cross substituted by gravel. A gate, showing a map of the Point area, stands at the entrance to the enclosure, and a wrought-iron arch with the words "We will remember them / Their name liveth on" spans the aperture.
